Dear Gentle Reader,
Every crafter tries to preserve some stage of their lives in their works as inspiration or just freeze a happy moment in time. As a craft loving person I'm doing the same and I have chosen my garden as inspiration.
I came across a dainty lil pattern called Sophie by the lovely lady called Ewa Wasyliszyn, which turned out to be perfect for this project, I mean this lady is fenomenal, she has awesome free patterns, love them all. More of Ewa's free patterns here
"Flowers Of My Garden" collection started off with the "Violet Series". For these I used Lisbeth 20 thread and needle 7.
These doilies can become a lovely gift for someone, or a nice ornament or even concealed in a pretty frame would look amazing on a mantle piece or wall.
I love these lil flowers because they can offer such a variety of shades and hues, which always tickles a crafter's creating mind.
For the next one I have chosen 3 colors only.... Light yellow, golden yellow for the middle and dark lilac for the color of the petals. With these 3 colors I'm trying to come as close as I can to the real flower's color pallette. I could add beads, but beads never too safe under a glass or cup.
Ta-daaaa, another doily done. 😁
This color pallette is a bit different from the previous one, more chearful and brighter to reflect the real flower.

And here I go....
Looking at the already done and almost done doily in this set, I can only smile... 😁
Ta-daaaa and nr 3 is finished.
And with this I finish this series, wishing you all the best and Happy Tatting.
Sincerely yours
Anna
